Received some information this morning from a Zorro fan Joy Tilley


Just wanted to let you know - in case you don't already - that there's a new biography of Guy Williams. It is great! This is a must-have for serious Zorro fans. Please let people know if you think it's worth sharing.

Both Amazon.com & the publisher - http://bearmanormedia.bizland.com/id58.html - have this (cheaper at Amazon). It's deetailed, well researched, over 500 pages & almost 200 pictures, with lots of information on Zorro. Spectacular!

 

There's also another book mentioned in the footnotes that sounds good but isn't out yet - The Zorro Television Companion: A Critical Appreciation, by Gerry Dooley, McFarland, 2005. Amazon lists it as available August 30.

 

And today's Washington Post had a good review of a new Zorro by Isabel Allende - her updated version of the story. Should be interesting!
